Time; the aspects of change

My thoughts: Am I the only one that still isn't use to this time change "Spring Forward"? I know that it takes a couple of days getting use to but I don't think I was ever the type to "adapt" to sudden change. I personally feel like there's more to just "Spring Forward". You know that saying, "Time doesn't change; people do", it's been on my mind a lot lately. I'm starting to think that when it's daylight savings time not only the clock changes but people, our surroundings, situations, etc changes as well. Maybe when the time changes people change spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically too. But wait, daylight savings time is "Spring Forward" "Fall Back".. why must we go back? Why can't we just continue to go forward? Is it because change itself is necessary in order to proceed in life? But if that's the case then why go with the same pattern of "Spring Forward" "Fall Back"..? Why not just continue forward? I thought we weren't suppose to let the past interfere with the future. So why go back? Just curious.

This picture speaks life to me. It not only shows me time but it also shows a continuous road. Look at how it's spiral and not straight. That has to have some meaning. A clock doesn't tick backwards. It will ONLY go forward. A normal clock is a circular shape. Which means it "goes around". You the saying what goes around comes around? I think that has some connection too. Or maybe I'm thinking too much into it... *pause*... Nah, I know that there's more to daylight savings time. This is just my thoughts.

Forgiveness; easier said than done.

My thoughts: Why is forgiving someone/something so hard at times? Why do we hold grudges against people/things? Why do we say we've forgiven someone but constantly remind them of their wrong doings?  "Forgiveness is the release of all hope; for a better past" -Buddy Wakefield. It's not easy to forgive. People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. It's all built from emotions. It's because of how the person or situation made us feel that makes it so hard. Let's think about it though. If Jesus didn't constantly forgive us...... *pause*....... how would that make YOU feel. In all honesty, we as individuals have our own expectations on respect and forgiveness. So why do we punish one another for their wrong doings if we didn't set the standard in the beginning. Why is it so hard for us to be more Christ-like? It's different when we're the ones that's wrong though.. we EXPECT to be forgiven. We need that satisfaction of knowing that because we're forgiven we can move forward.

Saying you forgive someone and actually doing it, are two completely different things. For example, I can say I forgive you but If I am always reminding you of what you did and how it made me feel.. then I have yet to actually forgive you. But if I say I forgive you and my actions towards you and the situation are positive that simply means I want to move forward and focus on what we can do to make things better. I've learned from my mother that forgiving is so powerful to give out and take in; it's better to show and tell.

How many of you are tired of hearing sorry? Does it even have the same meaning anymore? I personally feel like that word is used too much. I've reached a point in life where you can tell me sorry all you want but if your actions are speaking otherwise then your sorry is just your way of "getting by". When people say sorry it's like they expect you to say "Oh, it's okay" because that's a natural answer to that word. But what happens when you don't say it's okay? That's when they actually think about your feelings. I'm just saying don't be so quick to accept a "sorry" when you know you deserve so much more than that. However, remember we all make mistakes and one day you'll be the one saying sorry. So treat others the way that you would want to be treated.

The importance of; Faith and Positivity

My thoughts: Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen. That is truly one of my favorite scriptures. To have faith is knowing that what you desire will be fulfilled. Everything doesn't always work out in your favor but having the FAITH that soon things will turn around brings understanding. We constantly pray about change in life, relationships, jobs, the world, etc. But how often do we actually believe in what we're praying? If we had faith in what we prayed then we wouldn't worry as much. Prayer without faith is just requests/questions without seeking an answer/direction. So have faith in yourself and circumstances. Just because things don't look good for you now.. your future is what you should look forward to.

My thoughts: Positivity is SO important. I know that there are times when I'm not feeling too positive. That's abnormal because I'm a positive person inside and out. However, because I am so positive that requires "off days" as well. Everything can't always go right. That's like wanting to pass without being tested. Just because there are times that you feel weak.. that doesn't mean that you necessarily are. Even the strong has it's weakest moments. Remain positive because that shows your FAITH that better days are coming your way.
